If you are wondering about data, trends, statistics and academic information here are some good places to start.

• Interracial Statistics - A lot of people want to know why I think AF/WM is the most common interracial couple in America. Usually interracial couple brings to mind a WW/BM image. Initially it was just my impression, but later I found some US census data to back it up. This table is confusing because it changes comparison. Nevertheless, it shows that the number one interracial couple is Asian/White. American Indians have the highest rate of out marriage, but of all interracial couples, the majority are A/W.
• Original Census Data - This data is even more confusing since the tables don't line up on the screen. The way one table (race of wife by race of husband) is laid out seems to indicate that Asian White couple is declining when in fact, the Asian White couple is becoming more common. The table discuss AF/WM as a percentage of Interracial Couples.

• We the Asian Americans - Summarizes statistics on Asians in America, where they live, age, their country of origin (Vietnamese is the most common, 60% born overseas etc...). The Raw Figures are a little harder to follow.
• Marital Status by Race - Also has some interesting figures on housholds by race and education by race.
• Income by Race - Asian HouHouseholdstually have a higher income than white houhouseholdshough the average Asians individual still makes less.
• Condom Failure by Race - The topic of penis size by race comes up a lot. No studies have been done to date that correlate penis size to race. One discussion board participant quoted this article as relevant. "The World Health Organization bases its specifications for condom width on consumer preference and penis size, citing three studies. Taken together, the studies show significant variations in penis size within all population groups [emphemphasisded], but also indicate that men of African descent on average have a slightly wider and longer penis size, Caucasian men have a medium size, and Asian men a slightly narrower and shorter size. (WHO)"

• Eroding the Barriers, Interracial Marriages (Washington Post Article) - Very informative. "Today, almost one-third of U.S.-born Hispanics ages 25 to 34 are married to non-Hispanic whites. In addition, 36 percent of young Asian Pacific American men born in the United States marry white women, and 45 percent of U.S.-born Asian Pacific American women took white husbands (Host note: I think these figures are a little high, but the trend is probably accurate.)
• Asian American Nightlife - This article is mostly about the Asian American nightclub scene. However, it discusses outdating, and the disparity featuring some frank and open discussion from Asian ("The real problem is Hollywood") men and Asian ("The market is in our favor!") women.

• J A D E Magazine - A magazine for enEnglishpeaking Asian women. I was proud to have an article in their first issue. Response to this article was widespread, negative and positive.
• Korean Adoptee Page - Many Asian Americans are adoptees. Being raised in a white community, with Asian appearance can be quite different. Jen is also a contributor to this site.
• Asian Gurls - An online community for women of Asian heritage. Not the disclaimer is similar to mine (not a pornography site.)

• Hapa Issues Forum - It is not surprising that, with all this interracial dating, a lot of Asian/Caucasians are being born. This forum is one of many that the children of interracial couples have posted. Some of the high profile happa's surprised me.
